- Consistency matters: Barrier repair works with steady daily use, not with a heavier coat.
- Patch test before first full use if your skin is highly reactive. Avoid the eye area; if product enters the eye, rinse with water.
- Not for: open wounds, active severe eczema flare-ups, or broken skin. Wait until the skin has calmed.
- When to see a dermatologist: persistent redness, itching or a rash that a barrier-repair moisturiser does not settle should be reviewed by a dermatologist.
